Troy Cassels
Chief Executive Officer
Troy Cassels serves as CEO and owner of Innovative Turnaround Controls, overseeing all of ITC's interests and operations on a daily basis.
Much of Troy's career revolved around the heavy industrial business working from the "bottom up" as they say. Criscrossing the United States from one plant to the next, Troy accomplished successful Turnarounds and Capital Projects for clients in the refining business throughout the U.S.
Troy started with ITC in 2004 at its inception, working from a minor partner with duties in sales and project management to sole owner with the title of president.

Dale E. Martin
Vice President
Dale Martin has over Fifteen years experience in the Refining Industry working in multiple positions from piping design, planning and field execution. He has worked for clients such as Valero and Nustar. He has several years working at Valero as a maintenance supervisor including positions on the FCC, Cogen and Oil Movements. His vast knowledge in multiple positions helps him understand the client’s needs and work with them. Dale has worked his way up to Operations Manager and has recently been promoted to Vice President in the eastern region. Dale is an organized and goal oriented individual. He loves working with our clients and employees on developing new techniques for our business. |

Whitney Childress
VP of Operations
Whitney Childress has over 25 years experience in the industry from piping and mechanical design to project conception and execution in the field. He has worked for companies from Anheuser-Busch to Louisville Gas and Electric. He has been working strictly In the Petrochem Industry for the past 7 years.
Whitney’s ethic is to attain and achieve the client’s corner on the market and to maintain that standard.
Whitney is also the VP of Operations for Core Engineering. Whitney has been a design engineer for many different types of industries ranging from Anheuser-Bush, Procter & Gamble, Power and Petro-chem.
Whitney was a Site Engineering Manager for Fluor Daniel for five years from power to petro-chem. At Procter & Gamble Whitney worked in their pulp,paper,food & beaverage divisions.
Whitney is a no nonsense individual who strives to execute and facilitate the needs of the client, as well as, ITC.
Whitney was acquired by ITC to assist in bringing ITC to the next level. His compassion and desire to do this will help turn new milestones for the company in the future. |

Sonny Best
Vice President
Sonny brings more than 20 years’ experience in event, turnaround, and project management in the industrial setting. He has worked on the owner side 17 of those years in Global Turnaround Management roles in the US and European markets which include the following: refining, polymers, chemical, air gas separation, cogen/power, fertilizers, vitamin, and pulp/paper. His vast knowledge of large event management brings with it many tools and services that are now part of ITC’s suite of turnaround solutions. Sonny is viewed as an industry subject matter expert for front end loading and turnaround management and is recognized by peers through global steering teams and participation in expert panels.
As an executive management team member Sonny specializes in the senior consulting for “front end loading” at the corporate level and also works to fill needs within our own internal organization. He also provides services such as formal scope challenges, best practice reviews, risk analysis reviews, critical path analysis, readiness reviews, etc.
Sonny is a goal oriented, organized, and a perfection driven member of the ITC team who strives to make our business stronger every day. He is a certified PMP (Project Management Professional) through PMI, and member of SMRP, NPRA, AAPM (American Academy of Project Management), PCP (Global Network of Project Controls Professionals).

William Berry
Vice President
With more than a decade of heavy industrial experience, William Berry has developed a sharp eye for assessing organizational and management needs for both projects and Turnarounds--As an integral team member of Innovative Turnaround Controls; William specializes in the implementation of cost savings practices through the creation, development, and integration of technical processes and systems.
Since Joining Innovative Turnaround Controls William has assisted a variety of clients ranging from General Contractors to Fortune 500 companies on various types of projects and turnarounds across the world. William holds a Bachelors of Science Degree from Texas A&M University and is currently an active member of many professional and industrial specific organizations, when not assisting clients he offices out of La Porte, Texas. |

Rick Roberson
Rick started with ITC in 2005 and has twenty years experience in the petrochemical industry. Rick’s has extensive background in the piping trades. Rick has been working at the Valero Ardmore Refinery since his start with ITC, and oversees the majority of the capital project work.

David Goodwin
David's career began in industrial constuction in the early 80's with Dow chemical as a helper. He left Dow as a superitendent with the opportunity to be a project manager for Southern Company/Georgia Power on a Fossil Fuel Super Critial power plant for an upgrade on the East Coast for 5 years and then upon completion returned to Texas Gulf coast and worked in the refineries. His total years in industrial construction is 27 with 15 years on the Texas gulf coast. In his resume you will find all phases of industrial construction from demoliation, to grass roots, and start up. David currently employed as a project manager for ITC at Shell Deerpark. |

Rusty Bates
Rusty Bates is a Project Manager / Master Scheduler with 18 years of experience in the petrochemical industry. He has experience in General Contract Work as well as Soft Trades and has primarily worked on turnaround projects during his career. Rusty is proficient in Primavera, Microsoft Office Suite (Including Access), and Maximo. Some of the more notable projects that he has worked on have been a 265 million dollar Coker revamp and a 221 million dollar 4 Crude revamp in El Segundo CA. Rusty is currently managing the Invista site located in Victoria TX. that performs an average of $35 MM in turnarounds annually. |

Merrill Bronnenberg
Merrill’s plant operation, maintenance management, inspection management (NBIC Commissioned), turnaround and capital construction planning & execution, cost control and project management spans over forty years in the refining and petrochemical industry. He has provided these services to numerous clients throughout the continental United States and in other countries. He is proficient in Primavera 3.1 and 7.2, Microsoft Suite to include Microsoft Project, Excel and Access. Diploma in Chemical Engineering and Bachelors in Business Management. |

Valerie Russell
Account Manager
Valerie started with ITC in 2011 and brings significant experience in sales and marketing in the Oil & Gas industry. She is responsible for ITC’s new business development, client relationship management, integrated marketing strategies, and event planning.
Continuous growth, high quality customer/employee experience, and increased brand awareness are goals Valerie strives to exceed. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Houston at Clear Lake.

Carolyn Savell
Carolyn started with ITC in 2012 and is a seasoned sales and marketing professional with over 15 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas Industry. Her career began in project controls, planning and scheduling. She is responsible for ITC’s new business development and client relationship management to increase brand awareness.
Through her experience and education, Carolyn has developed a keen sense of marketing and sales experience. She has had the opportunity to participate in a variety of sales training courses, workshops and seminars that has allowed for a broad resource base on which to build her career.
Carolyn looks forward to helping ITC to continue to be the leading industrial project controls service provider.

Todd Billig
Todd has recently joined the ITC team in October of 2012. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Administration from Delaware Valley College in 2007. He spent the first 5 years of his working career as a reliable and respected Planner/Scheduler for a general maintenance contractor in a Valero New Jersey oil refinery. Todd learned a lot about refinery procedures and became proficient in SAP.
Todd looks forward to his new role with ITC where he hopes to acquire new successful employees as well as new clients. He is currently performing as a Daily Maintenance Planner at a local refining Company. He has recently completed training in Primavera and looks forward to utilizing this with his experience.He is excited about new opportunities to learn and experience more in the planning and scheduling field from additional training and field work experiences.

Lyndsay Pool
Assistant controller
Lyndsay joined ITC in January 2009, and has several years of experience in public accounting.
Her experience includes income tax preparation for individuals, corporations, and
partnerships, payroll tax reporting, preparation and supervision of compilations
and tax projections, and fieldwork for audit engagements in such industries such
as nonprofit, construction, oil & gas services, consulting and homebuilding.
Lyndsay is licensed to practice accounting in the state of Texas. She graduated
cum laude from the University of Houston with a bachelor's degree in Accounting
and Finance. |

Kristi LeBlanc
Kristi joined the ITC team in January 2013. Her experience includes several years in public accounting including tax services for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts. She also has experience in audit, review, and compilation services for multiple industries including nonprofit, banking, construction, and engineering. Kristi graduated from Baylor University with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

Christy joined the ITC team in March 2012. She came to us with over 15 years in the environmental industry and has experience in Human Resources, Payroll, Drug Screening, 401k and billing. Christy was first hired as an office manager for “Toadfly”, one of ITC’s affiliated companies. She was quickly transferred over to ITC as the Payroll/Accounts Payable Manager.

Geri Chapman
HR / Office Manager
Geri Chapman has been the Office Manager for ITC since January, 2005. She came to
us with over 25 years experience in the refinery industry. Twenty years of this
experience was as District Secretary and Operations Assistant for Western Stress,
World Stress, Cooperheat and Kelson Industrial Services (JVIC). Geri has extensive
experience in human resources, contract administration, benefit administration,
payroll and accounting functions. In 2009 she assumed the responsibilities of ITC
Controller. Geri completed over 180 hours at the University of Houston with her
concentration focusing on Industrial Health and Psychology. |

Curtis Crane is a Recruiting Specialist that enjoys the challenge of matching client needs with candidate skills.
Curtis has over 15 years’ experience in Sales, Business Development, Customer Service, and Recruiting. He began his recruiting career with a small recruiting company that focused on sourcing candidates for the oil and gas industry. Britney Colonna
Before joining ITC Britney was a leasing agent for apartment homes while attending San Jacinto College earning her Associate of Arts Degree.
Britney joined ITC in April 2012 as the Corporate Receptionist. She was quickly promoted to the Recruiting Administrative Assistant, which handles all the new hire processing, drug screening, employee issue items and safety council registration. During the last six months she has been training to become a full time Recruiter.

David Theiler
David Theiler has joined the ITC team as the Safety Account Manager, with responsibility for environmental health and safety programs, safety technicians, and corporate initiatives. Prior to joining ITC, he worked in environmental health and safety for companies such as Goodyear Tire & Rubber, Dixie Chemical, Anheuser-Busch and GE. David has over 25 years of experience in chemical manufacturing, oil & gas and the beverage industry.
David's greatest strengths are his passion for his work, drive and leadership. He thrives on challenges, particularly those that expand the company’s reach. He specializes in EHS compliance and driving a pro-active EHS culture. He has been responsible for EHS compliance for several plant turnarounds during his career.
David is the past community warning chairman for the Southeast Regional Local Emergency Planning Committee where he held the first safety fair and hurricane workshop at the Pasadena Convention Center. He has also hosted and co-hosted Channel Industries Mutual Aid drills for Zone 2 and Zone 4. He has also performed volunteer work for the Buffalo Bayou Partnership and Trash Bash at the Houston Ship Channel and Galveston beaches.
David holds a Bachelors Degree in Safety and Occupational Health, an Associates Degree of Applied Science in Fire Science from Columbia Southern University, an Occupational Health Safety Technologies certificate from San Jacinto College.

Greg Vance
Security Advisor
Greg Vance received his degree from Oklahoma State University and has worked for several fortune 500 Companies, including eleven years for Armstrong World Industries, Inc. and five years for Morgan Stanley. In 2004, Mr. Vance started working for a technology company and played a vital role in several key patent developments along with a management position. Mr. Vance has held the position of CFO and COO at several companies, and started Orion Security Solutions in October of 2008. As an entrepreneur, Mr. Vance saw the need for security services on a level that was unavailable in the market place, and has surrounded the company with the best talent available.
Currently, Orion Security Solutions is working with a number of companies to design, install and maintain a high level of security. Orion Security Solutions also works closely with Orion Management , coordinating installations around the globe, and has worked with Innovative Turnaround Controls over the past four years. |

Mr. Philip Levin

Philip is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute, the Texas Society and the Houston Chapter of Certified Public Accountants. Philip has over 40 years of varied private and public financial and accounting experience, and has been an integral part of a number of start ups, including ITC. Philip was part of the leadership team of an industrial turnaround company that grew from zero sales in 1998 to $800M in 2006, with 8000 employees. During this period, Philip was first it’s financial advisor and then its CFO. Remarkably, this growth was organic and with minimal owner finance. This company was sold in 2012 at a significant gain to its stakeholders. Philip currently serves on the Board of Directors of a number of companies, and is an investor, officer and/or independent consultant to these companies. At the outset of his career, Philip spent three years with Ernst and Young in New York City. Philip is married, a father of two, and grandfather of six. Philip is a graduate of the University of Cape Town, South Africa. He is a U.S. Citizen since 1985 and resides in Humble, Texas. |
